Local Funds Calls

Phi-Lab Spain also has local funding (which comes from the New Space strategy of the Generalitat de Catalunya) and which will open up different funding opportunities related to the theme of climate resilience, the focus of Phi-Lab.

These local funds address not only the transfer to market for specific research lines but also the development of in-orbit demonstrators (IODs) and training activities through industrial PhDs, internships and others.

Moreover, funding is provided for strategic facilities and equipment, ground and orbital infrastructure development, as well as the user segment with access to enabling datasets. This streamlines the offered support and closes the loop with all the key elements involved in a space mission that are essential to develop innovative space-related solutions to address climate resilience.
