Network of physical parameters of the soil

Functionalities

The Network of Soil Physical Parameters Measurement Stations of Catalonia (XMS-Cat) aims to generate and provide continuous data on soil temperature and humidity measurements at different depths and in different areas of the territory of Catalonia. These data, in combination with the measurement of environmental parameters, allow studies such as: determination of soil climatic regimes, environmental studies on climate change hydrological studies and to support farmers.
