Functionalities

The BSC AI Factory is part of a pan-European initiative aimed at accelerating responsible and impactful adoption of Artificial Intelligence. This AI Factory provides access to powerful computing resources and specialised AI services across Member States. It is co-led by four countries: Spain, Portugal, Türkiye and Romania

For H1 2026:

Partition of MareNostrum 5 available via BSC AI Factory is the ACC (Accelerated Partition) that has 1120 nodes based in Intel Sapphire rapids and Nvidia Hopper GPUs.
CPU resources available via AI Factory calls from the Red Española de Supercomputación (RES)

List of services and rates

The BSC AI Factory service catalogue is constantly updated and available via the project website. The catalogue of services includes access to computational resources, data services, AI development services and training services among others.

For startups, SMEs and public sector entities all services are provided for free until March 2028.
