ESA Funds Open Call
Research projects are extensive in funding needs. In this sense, the distribution of the ESA innovation seed funding is done through an Open Call process.
In the case of ESA Phi-Lab Spain, it supports innovative and disruptive projects specifically focused on enhancing climate resilience, through an Open Call with several cut-off dates. This Open Call is open to companies, research organisations and startups (legal entities or consortia registered in Spain or in ESA Member States, if they provide a clear benefit to Spain and to the Spanish Phi-Lab).
This Open Call will be open until 2028 and the different cut-off dates will be announced.

Evaluation process
After the submission deadline, the proposals will be evaluated by the board of ESA Phi-Lab Spain. The project presentations to the board will take place a few weeks after the evaluation.
